It’s known to be the queen of aromatic scent, and during important festivals, some would use these roses as body décor. The petals are often used in cooking or tea making.

The area imitates the space under a traditional Thai house which is used for keeping things and raising animals. The famous loincloth, a well-known product of Ayutthaya, is presented around the buffalo sculpture, local basketry, wooden deck furniture and colorful haystacks that will give you a fresh perspective towards the olden days of living.

“Ayutthaya” typo installation Phranakorn entrance, Ayodhaya Rd. “Ayutthaya” the wording is made into a 3D installation, using the same mechanics as garland making. Coming in a shape of familiar flowers such as crown flowers, cape gardenia, and jasmine around a thin core to form dimensions, a play on lights and shadows create a different atmosphere during day and night.
Textile Room Cultural Space, G Fl. “Lai-Yang Textile” is a printed textile during Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin era. It is designed in the Siamese court and sent for print in India, therefore the name “Lai-Yang” which means “do as designed” in Thai.
